Nebraska-born singer-songwriter Josh Rouse makes a welcome return to Glasgow after a three-year gap for a show at Oran Mor in April.
In that month his latest album, the ten-track “The Embers Of Time” will also be released, an endeavour he’s described as his “surreal expat therapy record.”
Now based in Spain, the new recording features some his most complex song writing to date with confessional lyrics and Glen Campbell-style countrypolitan, radio friendly arrangements.
He is an emotional and whole-hearted performer who leaves a positive mark on audiences wherever he plays.
It’s been a while since Josh Rouse played in Glasgow so we’re pleased to welcome him back, especially as he’ll be promoting his new album while dipping into an impressive back catalogue.
