Robert Vincent- Glasgow Return

Posted: March 22, 2022 in News

Robert Vincent is one of the most acclaimed new voices on the Americana music scene.

We look forward to his return, where he will play The CCA on Thursday 30th June 2022.

Born in Crosby Liverpool, his upbringing inculcated him with a very Merseyside culture of storytelling and language.

A key influence would be the American country records that his father would play around the house such as Waylon Jennings and Emmylou Harris.

We are so looking forward to having Adam Holmes play a rare solo show in Glasgow in The CCA on Wednesday night.

Rhona MacFarlane release her latest EP ‘Closing the Window’ on the 12th of November. Produced by Matt Ingram, the EP is a collection of songs inspired by a time of inward reflection and solitude during the pandemic. We look forward to having her make her Fallen Angels Club debut.

Ben is both the roar of the hurricane and the eye of the storm. He has an uncanny ability to channel both wild abandon and quiet introspection.

His songwriting pulls from many diverse influences but both his music and his lyrics regularly draw from his Jewish heritage. Often mixing biblical imagery and klezmer inflected melodies, Caplan re-appropriates ancient sounds and themes with a decidedly contemporary twist.
