Join Scottish singer songwriter Elaine Lennon and special guest Michael Logen for an evening of music to mark the one-year anniversary of her award-winning self-titled debut album, being celebrated by the release a remixed single of her track ‘THIS’.
THIS – The ‘21 Remix, out Sunday 24 January 2021, is a captivating reworking of a track taken from the album which was launched by The Fallen Angels Club to a sold-out show at Celtic Connections in January 2020 and won Celtic Music Radio’s Album of the Year 2020 Award.
The album, produced by Findlay Napier and supported by Creative Scotland, also made the Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Awards Long List 2020. ‘

Elaine and Americana/Folk artist Michael Logen first performed live together here in Scotland in 2019. Grammy-nominated Singer/Songwriter, based in Nashville,Tennessee, Michael’s stunning, sophomore album, “New Medicine” is an articulate, measured examination of the inner-workings of the human mind and heart on a backdrop of gorgeous, sweeping, acoustic-based, rhythmic folk/pop. The album features 3 phenomenalguest artists: Kim Richey, Liz Longleyand Ruby Amanfu, and has garnered 6 TV placements so far and includes Michael’s original, acoustic version of a song he wrote with Jennifer Hanson, called “Breaking Your Own Heart”, which was covered by Kelly Clarksonon her Platinum-Selling, Grammy-Winning album, “Stronger”.
Logen grew up in a small college town, Lewisburg, in North Central Pennsylvania. He was raised listening to Americana and Folk classics like Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and Gordon Lightfoot. He comes from a musical family and learned to play guitar from his Dad, even recorded a folk project with his brother, Dave.
Logen’s folk song, “Couldn’t Ask For A Better Friend” played prominently throughout the 2016 Rio Olympics when it was chosen by Folgers as the theme for their award-winning ad.
