Mike & Ruthy Set For Quick Return To Glasgow
The CCA on 24th July
After a sellout show at The Old Fruitmarket during Celtic Connections this year, The Mike & Ruthy Band make a speedy return to Glasgow. They play the CCA on Sunday 24th July. The band was singled out by Celtic Connections Festival’s artistic director, Donald Shaw as one of his Top Ten highlights of the 2016 event in an interview for BBC – and they went on to wow the crowd as predicted when they played Glasgow’s Old Fruitmarket. Reviewers described the show as everything from “glorious, gleeful and exuberant,” to “excellent” and “absolutely terrific”.
