Kris Drever, world-renowned for his work with LAU, Drever McCusker Woomble, and through his own critically acclaimed solo recordings, can now be seen performing in an exciting new collaboration with Éamonn Coyne.

Kris is an Orcadian multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and interpreter of traditional songs. He has travelled the world with the highly acclaimed trio Lau and played with countless greats of the folk music world including Grammy award winner Tim O’Brien, John McCusker (Mark Knopfler band), Kate Rusby, Roseanne Cash and with popular music stars such as Eddi Reader and Roddy Woomble.

Drever has won several high profile awards including Instrumentalist of the Year at the Scottish Traditional Music Awards, three consecutive BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, Best Group trophies with LAU, the BBC Radio 2 Folk Horizon Award, and a nomination for Singer of the Year at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in 2010.

Éamonn Coyne has performed and recorded with a vast array of people including Siobhán and Tommy Peoples, The Wrigley Sisters, Eileen Ivers of Riverdance, Sharon Shannon, Grammy winner’s Alison Brown and Béla Fleck, and Russell’s House. Éamonn specialises in traditional Irish music, but is enthusiastic about performing in a range of styles including American old-time.
