Having cut her teeth as lead singer with Irish-American all-female outfit Cherish The Ladies – a very notable start indeed – Heidi Talbot is right at home in the twin worlds of Irish traditional and roots music. After last years’ sell out Fringe concert and launching her new record ‘The Last Star’ to rave reviews, this night will see Heidi play with John McCusker and Boo Hewerdine as well as some Very Special Guests in what promises to be a brilliant one off concert. 2010 saw Heidi nominated for two Radio 2 Folk Awards and record and tour with Idlewild, Eddi Reader, Michael McGoldrick, and Kris Drever.  ‘A voice that’s both awestruck and tender.’ (New York Times)
